“Who is this person who fears the Lord? He will show him the way he should choose”
(Psalm 25:12, CSB).
Someone once asked a man whether he could hear the voice of the Lord audibly. His answer was: “No, God speaks much louder than that.” Sometimes the Lord’s instructions to us are so clear that they are louder and more audible than a voice. There is a saying that declares: “This is the way; walk in it.” One night in July 2024, I had such a supernatural special experience. I received a clear conviction that, from June 2026, I should focus more on teaching and ministering to women, than on the administration of ROH SA.
On 10 June 2026, ROH SA will be 10 years old. Over the past almost 10 years, the Lord has gone before us step by step. He has opened doors, added team members, provided finances, and changed lives. Therefore, I was convinced that He had already begun preparing someone to take over the administrative management of the ministry from me.
As always, the Lord is faithful. He has set aside Theresa Rabie, one of our team members. He called her and gave her the gift of administration. Theresa will therefore take over from me as director of ROH SA in July 2026. I will, however, remain part of the leadership and, in my new role, focus on developing and presenting new Bible studies and other spiritual resources.
I praise the Lord for Theresa’s servant heart and her heart for women. Please pray for us during this transition. Just as the Lord leads the ROH SA team every day, He also leads you. My prayer is that you will hear and that you will follow obediently.

1) Read Through the Bible (RTTB) in 2026 |

Revive Our Hearts started with a 1 year Bible reading plan in January of this year.
People from all over the world read through the Bible using the same reading plan. There are currently 36,738 people globally who have signed up to receive the daily emails in this regard. In South Africa, Afrikaans-speaking readers number 704, while English- speaking readers total 412.

3) Teach through the Bible (TTTB) in 2027-2028 |

Revive Our Hearts is excited to share next year’s journey of teaching through the Bible (TTTB). This project involves reading a few chapters, along with a 30–40 minute teaching from Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. We would like to introduce you to our team, working to make it available to you.

Estelle Drysdale (see photo above) is the project manager of the entire Wonder of the Word project for ROH SA. Estelle says; “What excites me most about this project is how Nancy encourages us, beginning with Genesis 1, and to see how everything in the Old Testament points to Jesus. We look forward to learning and understanding the Bible with you in 2027 and 2028.”

Expanding the Reach of Seeking Him –
South African Sign Language (SASL) |
|

|
What started as a conversation between two friends reflecting on the beauty of Sign Language and the limited ministry resources available to the Deaf community in South Africa has grown into a meaningful new outreach. What began as a shared concern is now a focused effort to make the Seeking Him messages accessible in South African Sign Language (SASL).
With guidance from Scripture Union, Eunice Van Vuuren, a member of the South African Deaf community, joined the project as interpreter. Her role is to faithfully interpret Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth’s Seeking Him messages into SASL, ensuring that the heart and intent of each teaching is clearly communicated.
Seeking Him forms part of the ministry of Revive Our Hearts (ROH), which calls women to personal revival and heart transformation through biblical repentance, humility, forgiveness, and obedience. The original Seeking Him content can be accessed here:

Recordings began in February this year, and the Seek Him – South African Sign Language (SH-SASL) mini-podcasts launched in March. Initially, one message will be released each Thursday; with prayerful trust that capacity will increase over time.
This initiative marks an important step toward making Christ-centered revival teaching accessible to the hearing-impaired community across South Africa.

ROH SA began translating Nancy’s messages into Afrikaans a number of years ago. This has recently been expanded to Seeking Him messages in Tshivenda, Setswana, Sepedi, Xitsonga and South African Sign Language.
Our Seeking Him translators reflect on the first two months of sharing messages in their mother-tongue languages.

“This month's experience showed me that it is not just about ministering to other people, it is more about ministering to myself. Translating and recording give me more time to reflect on the Word for that week. Recording is not the same as listening once and then moving on, because you have to read it over and over and record it over and over. Then the Word becomes ‘more’ real to me. It means that with one recording, I minister to myself over and over by reading it out loud.
I also learned that it is not about perfection, it is about the person on the other side, those who are at the receiving end of the Word, because they only need to hear the truth of God's Word, nothing else.”

Most of what we consume begins to control our bodies; addiction can develop, and eventually we may even claim that we cannot live without it - which is idolatry.”

ROH SA Passover Message 2026
|
|
|
|
When we observe that Passover wasn’t just a festival for Israel before leaving Egypt—it was a prophetic picture of the Messiah (Exodus 12:1–20). The lamb without blemish, the unleavened bread, the bitter herbs, and the blood on the doorposts all pointed forward to Jesus, fulfilling the promise first spoken in Genesis 3:15. He came to redeem not only Israel but all nations (Isaiah 43:1; John 3:16).
Jesus explained that the bread and wine symbolized His body and blood. The unleavened bread—leaven, which represents sin—spoke of His sinless body, broken for our healing (Psalm 147:3; Jeremiah 30:17). That healing is both emotional and physical: He restores our identity as children of God, heals depression and brokenness, and brings wholeness to sickness, pain, and even death.
The wine symbolized His blood, poured out for forgiveness, just as the high priest once sprinkled lamb’s blood on the Mercy Seat for Israel’s atonement. And here’s the truth—no sin is too great to be forgiven when we confess and repent before Him (1 John 1:9), especially if we struggle to forgive ourselves.
On the cross, Jesus fulfilled many prophesies in Scripture in ways few understood at the time (Galatians 3:13-14). Despite mockery and suffering, He prayed for His executioners (Luke 23:34), promised paradise to the repentant thief (Luke 23:43), and entrusted His mother to John (John 19:26–27) to ensure she had a Saviour (Jesus the Messiah). His thirst fulfilled Psalm 22:15, and His death came without broken bones (John 19:36). When pierced in His side, blood and water flowed (John 19:34), echoing the sacrifice of the Passover lamb and the cleansing promised in Isaiah 1:18.
But the cross wasn’t the end! On the third day, Jesus rose from the grave, appeared to His disciples, and forty days later, He ascended to Heaven, promising His return. Through the Holy Spirit, He empowers His followers to continue His work—even greater things than He did (John 14:12; Romans 8:11). His sacrifice brings healing, forgiveness, and the call to make disciples (Matthew 28:19–20).
So, as we celebrate Communion this Passover, we remember: He gave His life, His body was not broken for our healing, His blood was shed for our forgiveness. We’ve been redeemed not with silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, the spotless Lamb (1 Peter 1:18-19). In Him we become God’s righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21). Passover began in Egypt, was fulfilled in Jerusalem, and continues in our homes today. Have a Blessed Passover—and let’s proclaim together: Hallelujah, the Lamb has risen!

Behold, The Wonder of the Word
This year marked the 5th ROH live-streaming mini-conference held in Mbombela, at the Nelspruit Baptist Church. It was a beautiful reminder that this is God’s conference — not ours. He chose the speakers, brought the ladies, spoke to hearts, and blessed each one in such personal ways.
As usual, this year came with challenges. Technical issues, electricity problems, and even a power outage the night before the start, kept us on our knees. Yet in every difficulty, God faithfully provided — strength, help, and even a fully charged torch to complete last-minute preparations!
Sign-up was a bit slow at the beginning. Two weeks prior to the conference, only six ladies had registered, but in the end, 25 gathered, ready to hear from God.
The first televised message was from Kevin DeYoung, “Behold, The Big Story of the Bible,” followed by Dannah Gresh sharing “Behold, The Daily Mercy of the Word.” A special highlight was Charlotte’s powerful testimony of how God rescued her from addiction and transformed her life through His Word.
The final session focused on the Read Through the Bible project, including a beautiful reading of Psalm 119 in five different languages. Many ladies shared how deeply the reading plan has impacted them, especially those reading through the Bible for the first time.
We closed with a message from Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, “Behold, Hearts on Fire with the Word.”
The overall feedback after the conference was overwhelming — hearts encouraged, questions answered, and faith strengthened.
All praise and glory to God for the way He worked. Our prayer is that the Word will continue to spread as the women share what they have received.
